Why consider SIP circuits instead of traditional telephone lines?

Traditional access still work, but they restrict the development of your operations and erode your budget. With SIP, which establishes quality virtual voice circuits over IP access, a company can realize both technological gains and significant savings.

An SIP circuit is the most flexible and cost-effective solution of all telephone access types.

Availability

Don't wait, SIP telephone access is available on most of the territory currently served by B2B2C's IP network. Talk with your B2B2C account manager to learn more about this innovative service and get a price quote within 24 hours.

Extended local calling areas

Convert the telephone lines of offices located in the metropolitan regions of Montreal, Quebec, Sherbrooke and Ottawa to the B2B2C phone service and reduce your long distance bill with our extended local calling areas.

For example, consider the study presented on the Long distance and Extended calling areas page, featuring a corporation owning an office in St-Jerome and having customers in Beloeil and Chateauguay.

What is SIP?

phone

SIP is a protocol used in Voice over IP to transfer voice, video or data through a data network.

SIP stands for Session Initiation Protocol. It is an IETF standard protocol and replaces the H323 protocol. SIP handles the authentication and location of multiple participants while monitoring media types transmitted between them.

B2B2C uses the SIP protocol to deliver quality access to the Public Telephone Switched (voice) Network (PSTN). SIP circuits require the use of compatible telephone equipment.

Many certified IP-PBX

Maintaining the quality and stability of the phone lines is a priority for B2B2C. In this context we have established a certification program for partnering interconnects and suppliers of Hybrid IP-PBX.

By choosing B2B2C SIP service, you make a choice that ensures a flawless service activation, based on a close collaboration between your interconnect, equipment manufacturer and SIP carrier.

With B2B2C telephone access, SIP, PRI or analog, you can associate a circuit to a telephone number of any area code served by B2B2C. With this capability, you can centralize all your local accesses to a single telephone system and reduce the equipment needed by other offices to simple SIP telephones.

This approach increases your flexibility in terms of functionalities delivered to your regionally deployed personnel. At the same time, this generates savings on the cost of local lines and long distance between offices. Talk with your B2B2C account manager to learn more about this SIP optimized approach.

Make the most of your investment in CRM and call center technologies. B2B2C's PRI and SIP access collects information about each incoming and outgoing call, including called number (DNIS) and calling party number (ANI). Provide better customer service and save valuable time on each call with call-data delivered by B2B2C's digital voice access services.
